Recent Buys.

With winter overthrowing autumn and the weather dropping fast, all my summer clothes were put to the back of my closet, and I realised that I may just need a few more items, ;) any excuse for shopping right?

Wrong

I don't need an excuse! So I have been scouring asos, but I'm always careful because I'm not a 5ft11 model and so the clothes may, just may look great on her and crap on me. So being a curvy, and not stick thin beautiful model, tend not to buy shorts, trousers and sometimes skirts online without trying them. Firstly I found these:

I am talking about the shorts, I love the colour and the shape is really nice, so these cost a mere £30.00. And look woolen, perfect! But my mother suggested waiting to see if I'd still like them in the morning, as I am the type of person who spends on impulse. But then I noticed on this picture that they look fake and cheap:

Therefore I didn't buy them

But I found these instead:

But mine are khaki and cords :) I love these bermuda shorts and will wear them a lot!

Next:

Just some good ole tapered trousers :) I love "anklets" and they have been on various catwalks for AGES! They go with pretty much anything and are a staple for 2010 a/w

Last but not least,

I am planning to buy this:

I really love this skirt and it's woolen; a plus! I also really love the shoes and socks on this and may look at zara and check them out!

Thank you for reading;

Ecuador 2010.

Just a (kind of) brief overview of my time in Ecuador..

The cities I visited:

Banos - a popular town with many waterfalls

Quito the capital city

Papallacta - in the mountains
A home stay in the rainforest; next to the Napo River

Shangri la - again in the rainforest

Cuenca - another large city

A Hacienda - (a ranch)

Finally - Ottavalo - a market town

So, they were also many moments
which I will remember for a long
time, they will be demonstrated
in pictures:

White water rafting on the Napo

Little Quichea Indian boys ate the left over Mexican on a banana leaf

Natural Hot Springs

My sister getting painted like a tribal person

In the Ecuadorian culture your birthday is celebrated by the person getting hit x many times,
number of hits=your new age
Pedro unfortunately had just turned 19!

The absolutely GORGEOUS kids,
picture 1 = sully (soo-lee) - 5
picture 2 = yashira - 11

Swimming in the Napo

Finally, brace yourselves!

Yes, my sister, with a TARANTULA on her arm!

Thank you for reading, and I recommend Ecuador for anyone interested
in travelling and such.

Ok, signing off now :)

Just wanted to say: I am really grateful that I get the chance to
go to exotic countries and I hope you get to have the chance at
some point too

Bye people :)

Short People Are Cooler. Fact.

Hey,

I decided to do a post covering my cousin and her artwork, she is an aspiring photographer and artist. I would say she's very talented but I guess I'm bias, I hope you like her work:

My sister on her birthday doing contemporary jumps (that I taught her :D)

Me on a random day in a random park

My cousin's dog, called Mortimer :) he's a labradoodle

This was me on the same day :)

The bracken hurt - it had to be said!

This is an abstract painting she did, is was originally of a crowd of people.

This is an awful picture of me, but I think it is uberly cool otherwise!

This was a fun day :)

This was in the lake district

Richmond park :)

I like the colours in this :)

This was in the remains of a castle

Yes, this is my head in a box

This is my cousin Jessamy:

ABV day and the end of year 9!

Hello!

Sorry for my lack of blogging! It's been a busy and hectic last few weeks! So for everyone not in Tiffin who don't know about the joys of abv day - its is 1-2 days where the whole of the year get a chance to go away somewhere.

In year 7 we went to Guilford Spectrum and swam, bowled and took part in ice-skating. In year 8 we went to France, and this year, we went to Belgium and France to finish our history module on the two world wars.

It was really fun and I also learnt loads! I was going to show you what I wore but due to a lack of pictures I can't really.

The first picture is Lucy and I, the second is a picture of my trousers. Except I have a grey pair rather than brown. I have an obsession with harems at the moment. The t-shirt I wore is referred to with my friends as "the grass top". I also wore a scarf as a headband. Fabric as headbands are also a love of mine. I will post soon to show you ACTUAL pictures soon :)

Graduate Fashion Week

Recently I went to graduate fashion week with my lovely best friend India-Mai Rainbow Jardine. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures and also I cannot find any on the internet...

It was amazing and I would recommend it to everyone, my favourite I think was the lampshade shoulder bag. It was gorgeous!

So not a long post but the tickets aren't too bad and it is worth it because there is even an exhibition beforehand!

Topshop/Asos

I've been looking at the Topshop website but unfortunately all in vain. The shoes I see in the Oxford Street Topshop are NEVER on the website which annoys me so much. The collection at the moment is very uninspiring and so decided to look at the Asos website.

ASOS Sequin Sunset Vest Dress

This dress was seen on Katy Perry and I HATE it, I think it's revolting. Maybe it's the garish colours or the overload on sequins, but I think it needs to be balanced out. Either an overload on sequins or garish colours. So, moving on...

ASOS BLACK Cappuccino Frill One Shoulder Dress

This dress is beautiful, I saw one that literally looked exactly the same by Valentino. I'm a big fan of some of his work, I have 2 bags or so by him. I love the fabric and the wiring and shape of it.

ASOS Ditsy Wiggle Hem Dress

I love the bottom of this dress, I have something similar except not floral and from youcouture. The top half is quite boring unfortunately.

French Connection Sheer Jumpsuit With Teddy

Pepe Jeans Wrap Front Playsuit

I like both of these jumpsuits, I like the loose way they're both done. I think that recently, the common idea is that only bodycon/tight things look good or are fashionable - which I disagree with. Shops sell too many tight things, they should promote draped clothing, as I see wayy too many people with tight clothing when they are curvy and it doesn't look good!

ASOS Sheer Panelled Skirt as seen in Grazia

I'm not yet sure whether I like this or not, but I certainly find it cool! The amazing panelling is just wow!

ASOS Printed Colourblock Tunic

Finally I really like this tunic! It's half one colour block and half printed :) I would certainly buy this!!!
